Home made Facial Recipes

Every body loves a nice facial; but not all of us can afford to get one. Did you know you probably have the ingredients sitting in your fridge to make your own facial mixtures? Yep, some of the most common items used in home made facials are milk, honey, eggs, lemons, vegetables and fruits. In the below article I will show you some of the basic recipes for normal skin facials.

Before applying any of these facials, be sure and start with a clean face. You might want to also consider boiling a pot of water and placing your face over the steam so your pores open up. Use a towel over your head to catch all of the steam. Pat your face dry, and you are ready for your facial.

Egg Whites:

Separate the white from the yolk, saving the yolk for later. Simply whisk the egg white in a small bowl, then using your fingers, gently dab the egg on your face and throat. Now just wait for the egg to dry {15 minutes} then rinse off with warm water. Splash cool water on your face, and you are finished. Now doesn't that make your skin feel tighter and smoother?

Egg Yolks:

Whisk the yolk and apply it to your face and throat! Keep it on for about 20 minutes or so; then rinse with warm water and splash with cool water. Egg yolk is rich in Vitamin A and acts as an anti-oxidant gently pulling the impurities out of your skin. Notice how soft your face feels now.

Honey:

Warm a small portion of honey, and when warm enough apply to your entire face and throat. Leave on your face for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse off with warm water. Splash your face with cool water to close your pores. It will leave your face feeling smooth and clean.

Milk & Honey:

Mix an equal amount of honey and milk. Apply to your entire face and throat; wait 15 minutes or so and rinse off with warm water followed by cool water. Talk about soft-- your face will feel like a babies behind.

Yogurt:

Plain yogurt is best for this mask. Apply to a clean face and let it stay on for about 15 or 20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water, followed by cool water. This mask is especially helpful if you have dry skin because it adds moisture to your face.
