Men dress codes

Many corporate jobs, interviews and meetings require that you dress in a "business professional" manner. For those occasions, here are the guidelines you should follow:

Suit yourself
Wearing a well-tailored suit is a must. Underneath, sport a well pressed long-sleeve shirt, and a classy tie and belt. Finally, put on a fine pair of dress shoes.

Color
Dark colored suits are always more appropriate for professional business occasions. Keep in mind, however, that black is not appropriate. Instead, opt for darker shades of blue, gray and green.

Pants
Wearing short pants is a real fashion no-no, so make sure your pants have a slight break over the front of your shoes.

Ties
Your tie should reach your belt line.
Your tie should be conservative, like the rest of your attire.
Opt for solids, stripes and small patterns.
Shoes
Again, go for a classic pair but remember that conservative doesn't necessarily mean dull. Opt for rich looking black or brown leather, or cordovans. And keep them clean at all times.
